For the very first time, and due to many requests, the NPA have published their very own Calendar for 2008!
You just have to have one, whether its on your gym wall, or up in your front room, everybody has a calendar in their home or place of work, so don't be the odd one out!
 
'Who is on the Calendar?' I hear you ask....well, none other than 12 of the finest NPA Champions in the country, and here they are...

Wednesday November 14th, a day to remember for the Natural Physique Association.
It was approx. 7.50pm as I sat down at home nervously awaiting the BBC TV programme Inside Out, as over the last 3 weeks the Beeb had been following our exploits, first at the NPA British Finals IV held in Coventry on October 20th, and culminating in their trip to Madrid for the UIBBN World Championships.
 
But let me go back to how this fantastic opportunity came around in the first place, and let me praise a young man named John Morris, who helped to put the NPA in the spotlight through his efforts to give the sport some publicity.
John placed second in the Junior class in his first ever competition, the NPA Yorkshire Championships, and from that had the idea to put together a film of his exploits.
Unfortunately, his plans never got off the ground, but he did have the idea to contact BBC North to let them know that Natural Bodybuilding was alive and very well indeed, especially in Yorkshire, home to many a British, European, and World Natural Bodybuilding Champion.
John spoke to Nicola Rees, a producer on the Inside Out programme, and told her about the NPA, and how successful some of its Yorkshire based members are, and suggested she contact me if they were interested in doing a feature on the World of Natural Bodybuilding.
Inside Out is a regional programme covering the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas, and wouldja believe it, I subsequently had a call from Nicola about a week before the NPA British Finals.
